The Saudi Ministry of Culture chose Naseej – the leader in Digital Transformation and Knowledge Management Solutions – to implement its “Mobile Libraries Services” initiative, which aims at fostering reading as a culture in society.

Naseej will provide a detailed technical and implementation plan for the initiative and will also provide smart library solutions and equipment including automated self-check systems, in addition to installation and integration with the library system, along with the operation and maintenance services for the Smart Mobile Libraries.

Commenting on this partnership Mr. Abdullah Al-Turaifi – Naseej VP – expressed his deep appreciation saying: “We’re greatly honored to be part of this national initiative and to partner with the Ministry of Culture on its mission to foster the spread of knowledge in our society. Mobile libraries have always played a unique role in their communities; and today, with the pandemic, the library community needs such initiatives more than ever”.

Al-Turaifi also added “Putting library materials and information resources at children’s finger-tips is an integral part of the national strategy to build communal literacy. The mobile library initiative will not only promote the culture of reading but will also serve to attract totally new segments to libraries.”
