In line with its endeavors to enhance trust in eLearning practices, to provide lifelong equal access to eLearning, and lead sustainable innovation in eLearning to achieve trusted online learning for all, the National eLearning Center has chosen Naseej for Communication and Information Technology – the regional leader in Digital Transformation Solutions – to launch market-oriented flexible learning pathways integrated with local and international agencies.
Therefore, Naseej – in partnership with Coursera – will provide a two-year subscription in about 10,000 courses from Coursera and provide flexible eLearning paths and connect them to the National eLearning and Training Platform, with annual reports on users. Courses and programs will also be connected to the Saudi Classification for the Educational Levels and Specializations and the Global Skills Framework.
Commenting on this project, Mr. Abdullah Al Turaifi said; “We are excited to have this strategic partnership with the National eLearning Center to develop market-based innovative learning paths in collaboration with leading international organizations. In fact, this initiative seeks to align learning outcomes to the market needs.”
“In collaboration with more than 300 global eLearning leaders, this initiative will enable full access to world-class courses, programs and certifications for public, tertiary and vocational education. In its first phase of 3 learning paths, this initiative targets qualifying 500 learners to equip them effectively and efficiently to the labor market.”, added Al Turaifi.
