Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – August 2026
As Saudi Arabia continues to advance its cultural landscape, public libraries are evolving beyond traditional repositories of knowledge into dynamic “Houses of Culture” – inclusive, technology-enabled spaces that bring together knowledge, learning, culture, discovery, and community engagement.
In support of this vision, Naseej will deploy specialized library technologies at Al Khobar Public Library, under the Ministry of Culture’s Libraries Commission, to create a more seamless, secure, and inclusive library experience.
The project encompasses advanced collection protection systems, self-service borrowing and return technologies, and accessible learning solutions for people with disabilities – improving operational efficiency, empowering visitors with greater independence, safeguarding valuable knowledge resources, and expanding access to learning and library services.
The project builds on Naseej’s longstanding expertise in transforming library and cultural environments through specialized technologies and smart services. For more than three decades, Naseej has partnered with libraries, cultural organizations, and knowledge institutions across Saudi Arabia and the Arab region, combining deep sector expertise with advanced technology to modernize services, enhance user experiences, and support the evolving role of libraries as dynamic centers for knowledge, learning, and cultural engagement.
Commenting on the project, Eng. Othman Al-Abdulkarim, CEO of Naseej, said: “Our role at Naseej extends beyond delivering technology; we see ourselves as a success partner to libraries throughout their transformation journey. This means combining deep sector expertise, technology, and long-term support to help institutions translate their ambitions into sustainable outcomes. Our work at Al Khobar Public Library builds on decades of partnership with libraries across the Kingdom and reinforces our commitment to delivering lasting value, enabling operational excellence, and supporting the long-term success of the institutions we serve.”
Supporting Al Khobar Public Library marks another milestone in Naseej’s longstanding contribution to the advancement of public libraries across Saudi Arabia. Beyond technology, Naseej serves as a long-term success partner, bringing together deep sector expertise, specialized capabilities, and continuous support to help libraries modernize services, enhance user experiences, and achieve sustainable impact. Through this approach, Naseej supports the evolution of more efficient, accessible, and user-centered library environments that respond to community needs and contribute to the Kingdom’s broader cultural and knowledge ambitions.
