Latest trends in e-learning practices, management and quality were under the spotlights during the 4th International Conference on e-Learning held at Crown Plaza Hotel, Manama, Bahrain from 7 – 9 May 2013 under the title: “Best practices in management, design and development of e-courses: standards of excellence and creativity.”

The Conference, organized by Zain e-Learning Centre at Bahrain University and sponsored byNaseej – the Arab World’s leader ine-Learning Solutions, was inaugurated by the Deputy Premier, H.E. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa. The three-day event attracted regional and international experts in the field of e-learning. Hence, Naseej invited Mr. John St. Clair, Ed.D. – SENIOR MANAGER | ADVISORY & CONSULTING SERVICES of Desire2Learn – the World’s leading provider of e-Learning Solutions- as a keynote speaker to address the audience regarding the latest e-Learning issues such as: strategic planning, change management, accreditation, tracking student learning outcomes, copyright compliance, blended learning, faculty adoption, student engagement, and curriculum design among numerous other topics.
 
Mr. Mohammed Zainalabedin, Zain Bahrain General Manager, stressed; “This conference has given e-learning centers and academicians an opportunity to brainstorm and get ahead in developing new agenda and curricula for this new futuristic method of knowledge-sharing”
