As part of the continuous cooperation between Naseej the pioneer in Knowledge Management Solutions in the Arab World and the Saudi Digital Library to train the members of Saudi Consortium for Libraries to use electronic information resources, Naseej has organized a training course at the University of Shaqra about the Digital Library as well as all the information resources offered by Naseej to the Academic community. The course was held on Wed. 5/11/1434 at the Main Auditorium at the university’s hostel.
The session was attended by students and faculty from colleges of Science, Arts, Education, Community, besides the Deanship of the Preparatory Year. At the course, Dr. Abdallah Hussien Metwally Naseej Knowledge Solutions Consultant and Dr. Muhammad Fathi Al Gallab Assistant Professor at Deanship of Library Affairs addressed the audience. They elaborated on the professional databases offered by Naseej; including books, dissertations, researches, peer-reviewed journals as well as Pan Arab News Index.
Furthermore, Dr. Abdallah and Dr. Al Gallab explained to the audience the registration system and how to use the professional Databases. The Sessions were lively with discussions between the audience and the lecturers, wherbey Dr. Abdullah and Dr. Al Gallab gave answers to all the audience’s inquiries.
