Naseej – the Arab leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – is participating in the Middle East‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s 6th e-Learning Excellence Conference, to be held in Dubai, UAE, on March 4–5, 2014. The conference is in association with the 3rd Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Congress, held at the Atlantis hotel, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU.
 
In the conference, Naseej will showcase its cutting-edge e-Learning Solutions and Platform from Desire2Learn, Virtual Reality Solutions for Higher Education from zSpace, and the latest e-textbooks Solutions from CourseSmart. Naseej will also keep the conference visitors updated with the latest partnership between Naseej and Ankabut – the UAE‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s National Research and Education Network (NREN) – to launch the Desire2Learn Virtual Learning Environment on its network for member institutions. Through this service, universities can access Ankabut’s virtual learning environment, and benefit from the full range of professional training services and technical support offered by Naseej to Ankabut members.
 
This year, with the theme “Leadership, Design, and Technology for 21st Century Learning,” the conference will cover key domains in the realm of e-learning, including: teaching, design, quality and social online learning. Special focus will be given to securing quality frameworks for online institutions, and to implementing effective technology solutions for developing and making available predominantly online open courses. Applicable mechanisms for enhancing the cultural integration of open educational resources will also be discussed. The conference seeks to enable educational leadership through technological innovation.
