Riyadh, KSA, January 2015 Naseej is pleased to announce a renewed partnership between IEEE, The IEEE Xplore digital library and the Saudi Digital Library (SDL) Consortium for the coming year for e-Books Complete library plus IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL).
This partnership provides members of the Saudi Digital Library access to more than 1800 e-Books titles from the publishers:-
1- IEEE- Wiley eBooks Library: Provides access more than 700 titles, with approximately 40 new titles introduced each year.
2- MIT Press eBooks Library—Computing & Engineering Collection: Provides access to nearly 600 titles, with approximately 40 new titles to be introduced each year.
3- Morgan & Claypool Synthesis eBooks Library: Access to nearly 700 peer-reviewed eBooks, with approximately 100 new titles to be added each year.
About Saudi Digital Library
(SDL) is the largest academic gathering of information sources in the Arab world, with more than 310,000 scientific reference – covering all academic disciplines – and the continuous updating of the content, thus achieving accumulative knowledge in the long-run. SDL has contracted with more than 300 global publishers. The library won the award for the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information ‘AFLI‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎ for outstanding projects in the Arab world in 2010.
The library provides to all Saudi universities one umbrella through which to negotiate with publishers on various legal and financial issues and, in this significant savings of money and effort, one umbrella through which institutions can get more benefits and rights to publishers.
