Naseej – the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – is the silver sponsor of the Lebanese Library Association Third Conference, to be organized in collaboration with Asia Oceania Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutes (IFLA), on May 18-20, 2016, at the Lebanese American University, Beirut, Lebanon.

With the theme “Thinking together: Create, Share, Preserve and Access”, the Conference is expected to elaborate on a number of key issues, including the implementation of dynamic library services and innovative spaces to provide better services to users. Special focus will be on critical evaluation of policies and strategies in workforce planning to identify the optimal personnel profile and to scrutinize future staffing. The Event will also discuss the existing and emerging barriers and challenges to the free use of information, including legal barriers, censorship, open access and digital repositories.

At the exhibition to be organized as part of the conference, Naseej will showcase its next-generation Library Management Solutions, including Innovative’sSierra Library Services Platform for academic and research libraries, and SirsiDynix’sSymphony for public and national libraries, as well as the state-of-the-artRFID Technologies for Libraries from Bibliotheca.
