King Saud University has entered into a strategic partnership with Naseej – the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – to install electronically operated file storage carriages, to ensure the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, accessibility, flexibility and reliability. Accordingly, Naseej has collaborated with Bruynzeel – the global leader in providing storage and archiving solutions – in designing, supplying and installing a storage system for King Saud University‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Finance Department that meets internationally recognized standards as well as the university’s medium- and long-term goals.
 
The new storage system provides an economical archive solution designed for frequent use by multiple users. The Storage Cabinets are deigned to be used flexibly, cost-effectively and reliably for many years to come. All of them are directly accessible as they are built on solid rails which are manufactured from hot-rolled steel. In addition, The system enables smooth and effortless operation, supports future expansion and adapts to new load capacity. Further, the Storage System ensures maximum safety of files and users through aisle locking, anti-tilt and end stops. The archiving carriages secure the fastest access to files through a clear and simple touch control panel. Moreover, the system can be connected to the file management system at the university.
 
Naseej VP, Eng. Abdullah Al Turaifi, said of the newly installed system: “This project comes within the integrated services and solutions offered by Naseej to the knowledge management and higher education sector. With this project, King Saud University can leverage more extensive storage capacities to accommodate the increasing numbers of files requiring archiving and storage. Hence, maximum protection of files is ensured. Likewise, KSU employees can have access to these files over the long term.”
