January 21, 2013, The Libyan capital “Tripoli” hosted the 7th Annual Telecommunication and Information Technology held from the 21st to the 24th of January 2013 under the auspices of Libya Telecom and Technology. More than 200 companies in the Information Technology field from around the world participated in the event – which was inaugurated by the Libyan Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology, His Excellency Engineer Osama Siala, which was covered by a number of media specialists and outlets.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Turaifi, Vice President of Naseej, commented on Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s participation in the exhibition by saying “The Libyan market is eager for cutting edge IT solutions and is considered a very promising market as a result of the major  reconstruction efforts taking place in Libya today”. Mr. Turaifi also added “Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s stand in the event was fortunate to receive many visitors that were interested in learning more about the many IT solutions and projects Naseej has successfully implemented throughout the Arab World over the years”.

The 7th Annual Exhibition for Telecommunication and Information Technology is considered a hub to showcase the latest developments and solutions in information technology, and also comes as the first major event in Libya. The event aims to provide Libyan  institutes with access to cutting edge IT solutions  offered by solution providers from around the world. The event covered many topics including Education & Training Solutions, e-Government Solutions, Enterprise Communications Solutions and Document Management Solutions.
