The conference offered Naseej customers an exclusive opportunity to meet face-to-face with Mr. Marshall Breeding, a leading world authority on library technologies. In a keynote speech to conference delegates, Mr. Breeding identified some of the challenges facing the library sector. Among the vital issues he examined were the next generation of library automation technologies, the role of search & discovery in libraries, the effective management of e-resources, and the potential for making library collections available on Facebook and through other social media.
At the conference, Naseej also showcased its cutting-edge RFID technologies for libraries and its range of world-class library furniture from BRM. Naseej presented its integrated Library Management Solutions from Innovative Interfaces and SirsiDynix, as well as cloud services for national, public, government, academic and research libraries. Also on offer from Naseej were the latest information resources and professional databases from AskZad, EBSCO, CABI, IEEE, Thieme and Credo Reference, among others. Naseej also demonstrated state-of-the-art digitization solutions, available from book2net, as well as archive and museum solutions from adlib.
