Naseej – the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – has successfully concluded its silver sponsorship of Jazan University’s Fifth Annual Book Fair held as part of the University’s Eighth Cultural Season on February 16—26, 2015.

This year, more than 75 publishers, 18 Saudi universities, 10 scientific associations, in addition to many government and private institutions have participated in the conference. Naseej showcased the latest integrated RFID technologies for libraries, including the Self-Service System. This features Self-Check devices, which enable patrons to complete their check-in/out operations on their own, without the help of a librarian, in a totally safe, private and reliable manner. The system also provides titles suggestions linked to checked-out items, besides library ads and many other benefits.

Naseej also displayed cutting-edge book scanner for libraries from B2N. It allows users to scan images directly to USB memory, email or printer in less than a second through a high-resolution digital camera. It enables enhanced image analysis, such as page recognition, curve correction, cropping and finger removal.

Furthermore, Naseej organized a draw on a number of symbolic prizes for the Fair visitors who participated in the presentation and tested the products and solutions. For them, Naseej solutions offer state-of-the-art capabilities that effectively serve Arabic library users, boost up library visits and enhance readership.
