Naseej – the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – is the diamond sponsor of the 25th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI 2014), organized in collaboration with The National Library, Tunisia, to be held October 28–30, 2014, in Hammamet, Tunisia.
 
The theme of this year‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s conference is “Performance Quality Standards in Libraries, Information Centers and Archives”. Participants will learn about the latest tools and mechanisms used to measure and enhance performance quality in Arab libraries, information centers and archives, and will explore the various criteria for professional qualification of specialists working with these institutions. They will examine how to use local as well as international quality experiences and benchmarks to support local institutions in developing prime performance standards. A special focus will be given to academic accreditation standards applicable to certification programs for quality information specialists.
 
During the conference, Naseej will showcase its ever-growing suite ofsolutions for Arabic libraries. These solutions include, but are not limited to, AskZad Digital Library, and 3M‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Library Items Security and Management Solutions. Naseej will also update conference participants on the contribution of the Arab Union Catalog to the development of Arab libraries and its membership requirements. Again in 2014, Naseej will present its award for the best working paper (in Arabic and in English), as part of its efforts to contribute to the spread of knowledge and information throughout the Arab world.

This year, the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information will distribute its annual award “Dr. Hassan Alsereihy Youth Award” presented  by Dr. Alsereihy for the most creative Library, Archive and Information Project.
