For the ninth year in a row, Naseej sponsored the ILN Spring Symposium 2019, in which it showcased its solutions for universities and libraries in the Middle East. The event took place at New York University Abu Dhabi from April 24-25.
The two-day symposium brought together librarians, educators, and researchers from the Gulf region and beyond. The symposium was set to exchange ideas, best practices, and exchange knowledge among attendees.
The symposium discussed crucial topics such as the concept of Information, developing information mentality, reviewing the principles and objectives of erasing information illiteracy and taking the most out of the modern developments.
Naseej actively participated in the Symposium, to offer a wide range of its solutions for universities. Including E-learning Solutions, Knowledge Information Resources and Talent Management Solutions. Furthermore, Naseej also presented customized library solutions that encompassed, professional databases, Museums and Archives Solutions, Digitization and Cataloging Solutions and Library Management Solutions.
Naseej Academy presented the best paper award in the symposium. The Conference Planning Committee welcomed proposals from academic, school, public, and special librarians, as well as educators and researchers, on any topic related to information literacy.
