Naseej, The Leading Knowledge & Digital Transformation Solutions Provider in the Middle East, has signed a strategic agreement with UniTime s.r.o, to provide Universities Timetabling and Student Scheduling Solutions for Academic Institutions. Under this agreement, Naseej will have exclusive rights to officially support University Timetabling and Student Scheduling Solutions from UniTime in the Middle East.
UniTime is a comprehensive educational scheduling system that supports developing course and exam timetables, managing changes to these timetables, sharing rooms with other events, and scheduling students to individual classes. It can be used alone to create and maintain a school’s schedule of classes and/or exams or interfaced with an existing student information system. UniTime is an open source software available free of charge under Apache Software License v.2.
Mr. Abdullah Al Turaifi, Naseej VP stressed on the advanced capabilities of UniTime, which are based on smart algorithms, that empowers colleges and universities to serve their students with better scheduling and timetabling while minimizing course conflicts.
About UniTime
The system was originally developed as a collaborative effort by faculty, students, and staff at universities in North America and Europe. The software is distributed free under an open source license in hopes that other colleges and universities can benefit their students through better scheduling.
